Michigans's Upper Peninsula is home to abundant scenery, wildlife and rich fish laden streams that Earnest hemingway and Robert Travers helped to make famous. Be it small tributay streams or large floatable rivers, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan offers a quiet solidarity that can't be matched.

Largely forgotten to the prestige and publicized stream of Lower Michigan, the Upper Peninsula is a hidden gem.  Fish for trophy Brook Trout, Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout in a setting can only be compaired to Canada or Alaska.

Red River Anglers is pleased to present a new addition to a custom guide service that is known for exelence. After years of experience guideing in the Southern Rockies of New Mexico and Colorado we have decided to bring our over 20 years of knowledge in stream ecology, fish sciences and costomer service to an area that consistanly produces larger fish in larger quantity.

The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is surrounded by the largest fresh water lakes in the world (Lake Superior, Lake Michigan and Lake Huron) and provides well defined costal style runs of Steelhead, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Brown Trout and the coveted Coaster Brook Trout.

We focus on more that just the Salmonids. You can fish for Small Mouth, Pike, Musky, Walleye, Yellow Pearch, Lake Trout and much, much more all on the fly.

Join Red River Anglers for our favorit time of the year in late June and early July casting 2 inch dry flies to the 60lbs surface feeding Carp of Lake Michigan.  Hooking one is easy, landing one is the challenge.

Red River Anglers continues to provide the best experience, memories, food and adventures by customizing the trip just for you.
